Sweden Passport

Key Contribution - After tireless work and innovative thinking, I pioneered the creation of a next-generation security feature that sets a new standard for passport authenticity and integrity. This feature not only enhances passport security, but also shows Sweden’s commitment to innovation and excellence on the global stage. Due to this invention, I received a bonus and internal recognition from the company for the importance of this new feature. My creation contributes to the ongoing process of evolving passport security and plays a role in safeguarding the identities of Swedish citizens around the world.

The Swedish passport is a document issued by the Swedish Police to Swedish citizens for international travel. It serves as proof of citizenship and allows the holder to secure assistance from Swedish consular officials abroad. Swedish passports issued since 2005 are biometric and valid for five years. Swedish passports use the standard European Union design and include an RFID chip with 16 data groups. The Swedish national identity card can be used for travel to some European countries and other territories. Source: Swedish Police
